Beth Hayman

I grew up in Worcestershire before going up to Glasgow Vet School. After graduation I took a large animal internship at Bristol Vet School before starting to work in large animal practice in Somerset.

This is my 24th year at Delaware and although I started as a mixed vet, the practice has changed over the years and so I concentrate on small animals these days! I love all types of surgery and have a soft spot for cats, I have 3 at home currently.

In 2014 I trained in a new surgical method of managing cruciate ligament disease in dogs and enjoy putting it to good use.

 In 2016, I took on the role of clinical director and developing and sustaining a good working environment for everyone in our team is my mission.

When not at work, I enjoy being outside as much as possible. I love to grow my own vegetables and if there’s any time left, I use it to indulge my passion for sailing.
